TSAP is an Actuarial and IT Consultancy committed to the development of business management systems and financial models. Systems and models that help to keep Life Assurance Practitioners in control of their work, undertaking their job with confidence, effectively and efficiently.
Adrian Pinington (Chief Executive) is a qualified actuary with over 20 years experience in the management of Life Protection products. For over 9 years he worked in the London Life Reinsurance market. “Technology is continually advancing and in recent years the advances have been such that the tools to develop robust systems for analysis of claim and lapse incidence is now well within the reach of reasonably skilled, technical actuaries”.
Mike Birbeck Michael Birbeck is a Project Manager with over 17 years in the IT industry. He is a Prince 2 Certified Practitioner as well as being ISEB Software Testing certified. He was educated at the University of Cape Town where he majored in Law. He has experience of complex application development, packaged and infrastructure varying from small to large projects spanning large organizations with multiple groups of stakeholders. He has worked with multiple small to medium projects simultaneously. He has worked as Vice President for Chase Manhattan Fiduciary Services, covering IT and business support in the Global Custody back office supporting the business and systems (Corporate Actions, Debt Agency and Collateral Management Systems). He is currently Operations and Technical Projects Manager for TSAP Consulting and DataIO Limited
Rod Connors (Research and Development) is an IT professional specialising in business analysis and systems design. He has a broad knowledge of available systems and methodologies and this, together with his 25 years of experience in insurance and banking, allows him to explore ways to re-purpose and package advanced technologies, creating new solutions for the financial services industry. Amanda Jones (Consultant) is a qualified actuary with over 10 years experience in the Life Consultancy and Reinsurance areas. As well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, she also has a Masters in Occupational Psychology. By combining the hard analytic skills of an actuary with the softer people skills of a psychologist, she is able to find comprehensive solutions to your business needs.
Nigel Linacre is a business consultant, leadership coach and speaker who writes about business and social matters. Within TSAP his focus is on business development, in particular ensuring that clients form effective relationships that enable them to accomplish more of their objectives.
